In collaboration with Karvet.

For this collection I was inspired by an Art Nouveau textile document provided by Kravet’s Archive. I was drawn to the strong colors and motifs found throughout the document, as well as the idea of growth and falling off the page that was visible within the document. Along with the document and through my own research of the movement, I saw the use of damasks, a repetitive mirroring effect, and an arch like form that happened in many paintings/textiles. Lastly, I was inspired by the artist William Morris and his work style, taking into consideration his methods. The collection is titled ‘Killer Queen’, in reference to the Queen Song, and was created for both interiors and fashion.
